Meera, Bob and Steve met in 2018 working for ITV, realised that we had a shared passion for gaming and that's where our bond formed.

Soon after, and in partnership with the Met Police in 2019 launched Corrupted: Cyber Escape Room, a physical and gamified learning experience which toured offices across the UK and Worldwide.

Corrupted combined all the elements which gave players a good time: a compelling story packed with games on cyber security that everyone could take part in and enjoy, all against the clock where points meant prizes.

We were humbled to win Campaign of the Year at the Internal Communications Brilliance Awards and that along with the incredible feedback we had from players convinced us that 'fun' is a serious business when it comes to learning and wanted to bring the experience to as many people as possible.

With that Xcapism Learning was born and since 2020 has launched both online and physical bespoke escape experiences with some of the biggest global brands including Chanel and Heineken as well as working with Nokia and the Met.
